Power Machines upgraded the stand for vertical assembly of gas turbine rotors

As part of the project to create domestic high-capacity gas turbines, Power Machines completed work on the upgrade of the stand for vertical assembly of gas turbine rotors GTE-65 and GTE-170.

During the upgrade, the load-carrying capacity of the stand platform was increased to accommodate the hydropower station. This configuration will increase the productivity in rotor assembling, since the water supply for their tightening will be carried out directly at the stand.

The production of gas turbines is launched at Leningradsky Metallichesky Zavod, which is part of Power Machines. The prototype of the GTE-170.1 gas turbine has been put into production.

In total, over 1,645 machine tools will be involved in the manufacture of parts and assemblies for gas turbines. In addition, an investment program is being implemented to equip Leningradsky Metallichesky Zavod with 48 groups of new equipment.
