Power Machines proceeds to assemble combustion chamber assemblies and the GTE-170 gas turbine compressor guide vane

Power Machines continues to implement a project to create fully made-in-Russia medium- and high-capacity gas turbines. The company's specialists proceeded to assemble two combustion chamber assemblies and the GTE-170 gas turbine compressor guide vane. Currently, the assembly and welding of combustion chambers, particularly the combustion chamber body, combustion liner, and mixer are carried out, and the hen specialists must machine.

Moreover, the outer ring of the guide vane is assembled as the compressor blades are installed. The technology used on the LMZ allows treatment of the blade shanks for the compressor stator, ensuring they are reliably fastened with high precision in a short time.

The development of the domestic line of power gas turbines at two sizes – GTE-170 and GTE-65 began in 2018. The high-capacity gas turbine GTE-170.1, manufactured by Power Machines, was the first in Russia to acquire the status of innovative power-generating equipment. The project to revive gas turbine manufacturing in Russia is implemented by JSC “Power machines” along with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia.
