"Power machines" Presents a Route for Industrial Tourism to ASI Experts

"Power machines" hosted an inspection tour as part of the All-Russian Accelerator for Industrial Tourism "Open Industry".
The "Here Energy is Born" tour takes visitors through the primary workshops of Leningradsky Metallichesky Zavod (LMZ) and provides an overview of the procedure involved in producing high-capacity turbines utilised in power generation, engineering, and various other specialised applications.
A significant aspect of the program is delving into the history of LMZ, which marked its 165th anniversary in December 2022. LMZ is the pioneer of domestic turbine construction and has played a crucial role in some of the most significant events in the country's history. These include preparations for the first human space flight.
After the end of the inspection tour, a strategy session was held in which the inspection tour organisers analysed the company visit programmes and made recommendations for their improvement.
The All-Russian Accelerator for Industrial Tourism "Open Industry" is an initiative by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, which is backed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. The primary objective of the "Open Industry" is to create a favourable perception of industrial enterprises and promote awareness of their technological and human resource capabilities. The initiative is intended to foster tourism and encourage the development of attraction centres in industrial regions by stimulating the influx of visitors.
