"Power machines" opened a day of knowledge in educational institutions of the "Professionalism" program

JSC "Power machines" continues to cooperate with educational institutions of the Mechanical Engineering cluster as part of the federal project "Professionalism".

On the Knowledge Day, the heads of "Power machines" attended the ceremonial assemblies, congratulated the first-year students, and presented teachers and production workshop foremen with letters of gratitude and memorable gifts.

In addition, 50 first-year students of the Electrical Mechanical Engineering College, the flagship institution of the Mechanical Engineering cluster, visited the Electrosila Plant (part of "Power machines"), where they learned how production is organized and operates, got acquainted with working conditions, and had a chance to communicate with specialists. Meetings were held with first-year students from other educational institutions, at which the children were told about "Power machines", employment prospects, as well as professional and career growth within the company.

This year marks the second intake of students as part of the "Professionality" program. In St. Petersburg, the event is scheduled for 725 people and held at the Electrical Engineering College, the Technical School of Power Engineering and Metalworking, Malookhtinsky College, the Russian College of Traditional Culture, the St. Petersburg Technical College, the Izhora College and the Industrial and Technological College named after N.I. Putilov.

The applicants will have access to professions and specialties that are in demand in industry: mechanical engineering technology, adjuster of machines and equipment in machining, welder of manual and partially mechanized welding, controller of machine and plumbing works, operator of computer-controlled machines, master of metalwork.

"Today, we see many sectors of domestic industry undergo rapid development. There are job opportunities, there are professions in demand, but there are not enough workers. "Professionalism" presents a worthy response to these challenges. The program has already proven its efficiency, and we will expand the course of accelerated training of specialists, followed by additional training in real production conditions," noted Elena Solovyova, HR Director of "Power machines".
