"Power machines" Modernizes the Power Unit at Karmanovskaya TPP

On December 7, the third power unit equipped by "Power machines" was ceremonially commissioned at Karmanovskaya TPP in the Republic of Bashkortostan.
PM Group plants manufactured the equipment for modernization of unit No.3: LMZ—high pressure cylinders and valve blocks of the steam turbine, Electrosila—turbine generator with excitation system, TKZ—elements of the boiler heating surfaces.
The scope of our obligations also includes a range of services, including joint equipment incoming inspection, installation and adjustment supervision, and participation in equipment testing. As a result of the modernization, the service life and reliability of the equipment increased, and the fuel costs for power generation decreased.
Radiy Khabirov, Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan, and Boris Kovalchuk, Inter RAO General Director, attended the ceremony online. Viktor Larioshkin, Head of the Bashkir Generation Company, welcomed the participants of the ceremony via video conference from Karmanovskaya TPP. He said that comprehensive tests with the participation of manufacturers and equipment suppliers confirmed all the declared characteristics, and then, together with the First Deputy Minister of Industry, Energy and Innovation of the Republic Timur Gerasimov, he symbolically commissioned the power unit. Full operation of the facility will begin on January 1, 2023.
