Power Machines is ready to supply power generation equipment suitable for operation under Extreme North and Arctic conditions

Power Machines has participated in the "Arctic: Sustainable Development" VII International Conference which took place at venue of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation. Within the conference, Adviser to the General Director of Power Machines Dmitriy Ostapchuk spoke at the "Energy Security in Extreme North and Far East regions" roundtable. The experts discussed matters of energy provision to the territories distant and isolated from centralized power networks.

Power Machines proposes interaction within a wide equipment product line, including multiple-function modular energy hubs created on the basis of wind and solar power generation, as well as gas engine generators of 0.5 to 50 MW capacity. This equipment can be used as a solution to the problems of high-performance electrical and heat power generation, and where needed, of carbon dioxide gas for vegetable glasshouse industry needs in the regions with partial or complete absence of power networks.

"Modular principle of construction for each part of the energy hubs and their sets allows to upgrade it at any moment, increasing the functionality, including the energy hub power augmentation. Implemented modular solutions do not require any permanent structures, as well as any major construction works, and it is an important advantage for operation in the Extreme North and Arctic conditions. Moreover, our equipment has a quite high localization degree. Its manufacture, operation and modernization are not dependent on foreign companies both on equipment and software levels", Dmitriy Ostapchuk, Adviser to the General Director of Power Machines, has stressed.

Power Machines is ready to propose complex turnkey implementation of all required works for the customers, with the offers development, erection and commissioning of supplied equipment.

The "Arctic-2022" conference was held with the official support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. The main purpose of the event is to encourage sustainable social and economic development and exploration of the Arctic, to inspire scientific and technological activities and innovations in the region, to create positive investment environment for the projects of development of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation.
