"Today's labor market is a job seeker's market. Therefore, companies are interested in creating working conditions where job seekers will choose them. Here, all aspects of employment are important: the level of wages, the provision of housing, if necessary, training opportunities and, of course, compliance with labor laws," Mikhail Ivankov said at the meeting.
Alexey Sadkov, Deputy General Director for Production at "Power machines" – Director of Leningradsky Metallichesky Zavod, told how the company, which focuses on high-tech production, organizes work to attract, retain and train personnel:
"There is a need for engineers and workers at "Power machines" in the conditions of a growing production load. The company has a wide range of training and retraining opportunities – its own training center makes it possible to train qualified workers in a variety of professions.
"Power machines" also actively collaborate with specialized secondary educational institutions as part of the "Professionalitet" federal program, develop a network of student design bureaus at the country's leading technical universities, and participate in career guidance events.

During the visit, the Rostrud delegation visited the production facilities of Leningradsky Metallichesky Zavod, the backbone of "Power machines", where equipment for the energy sector is manufactured, in particular as part of a strategic project to resume production of medium and large capacity domestic gas turbines.
