"Power Machines" Hold Music Festival Among Industrial Enterprises

On July 22, "Power machines" organized a large-scale open-air festival among industrial enterprises at the Leningradsky Metallichesky Zavod (LMZ). Over 1,500 people took part in the event.

The festival featured 18 music bands created by employees of "Power machines" and its industry partners: Kaluga Turbine Works, SMTT High-Voltage Solutions, Obukhov Plant, "Severnaya Verf" Shipyard, Rakurs Group, TGC-1, Sveza, etc.

'"Power machines" are known as a high-tech company with a rich history and one of the largest employers in St. Petersburg, but first and foremost, it is a team of professional, talented, creative people. I am very glad that colleagues from other manufacturing organizations have joined us. This is a great opportunity to get to know each other better, to show our music bands to one another. I believe that the creative drive of our participants will allow us not just to hold a great event this year, but to set up a new tradition of holding this festival annually. Thus, we strive to strengthen the community of manufacturing organizations and deliver the following message through music: manufacturing means not only drawings, equipment, projects, it is also creativity and genius,' Alexander Konyukhov, General Director of JSC "Power machines", greeted the participants and guests of the festival.

No professional musicians were invited, the organizers wanted to show creative abilities of employees. And they managed to do so – in the widest genre range, which included: indie rock, alternative rock, blues, new wave, pop songs, electronic music. There were also cover versions of hit songs of world-famous singers.

In addition to live performances, the festival guests were invited to join various workshops, play kicker, air hockey, mini golf, table tennis, etc., take some pictures at fancy photo zones, visit a motorcycle exhibition, try some street food and soft drinks. Fifty prizes, including certificates for an additional day off and other corporate benefits and bonuses, were raffled off among the participants. Special events, sports tournaments, lectures, meetings of the Engineers Club, and various youth programs are important elements of the "Power machines" corporate culture.
