This year the conference, organized by the Russian Engineering Union, received 159 applications, of which only 49 made it to the final, which was held as part of the All-Russian Forum "Scientific and Technical Development and the Challenges of Global Leadership" in Moscow. The winners were determined by a competition committee, which included representatives of large enterprises, R&D and higher education institutions.
