"Power machines" Becomes a Partner of the Competition for SCHOOLCHILDRENNOT-hackathon "InResource"

"Power machines" became a partner of the open regional contest NOT-hackathon "InResource", organized by the Center for Creative Development and Scientific and Technical Initiatives of Children and Youth of the Kalininsky District of Saint Petersburg.
Schoolchildren in two age groups are involved in the NOT-hackathon "INResource" at the "Kvantorium St. Petersburg" Children's Technopark: Grade 7–9 and Grade 10–11. Participants develop ideas for the optimal use of natural and other project resources, present their projects to partners – representatives of major regional companies – and receive feedback from experts.
The event aims to improve students' functional competence, develop creative potential, develop critical and systemic thinking, ability to work with information, structure and analyze data. It shall provide students with basic approaches to solving technological problems.
"In addition to strengthening interest in the energy sector and the economical use of resources, children acquire skills of creative teamwork of a scientific and practical nature through playful forms of interaction," said Sergey Budin, Lead Design Engineer of the special design bureau for gas turbine units of "Power machines", who participated as an expert in the defense of the projects.
Cooperation with the Center for Creative Development and Scientific and Technical Initiatives of Children and Youth of the Kalininsky District of Saint Petersburg and the "Kvantorium St. Petersburg" Children's Technopark is part of the vocational guidance program implemented by "Power machines" together with educational institutions.
