Employment Policy
Power Machines' employment policy is aimed at building of skilled specialists team sharing common objectives and motivated to work efficiently, develop open communication and feedback systems. One of the main priorities in the work with the personnel is training and development. Every year company spends significant means to assess, maintain and develop competence necessary for work performance and achievement of target goals by subdivisions and by each employee in particular. Corporate training programs, seminars, practical courses and career development programs are organized for employees.
As of today company holds education projects in several directions:
- cooperation with leading universities of the country to prepare engineering and technical specialists;
- recruiting talented students for probation in the company with further employment opportunities based on the results of probation;
- support of Power Machines' specialized department of power- and electric machine engineering in Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University.
To recruit recent graduates company implements a program of professional orientation for junior students of vocational technical schools, colleges and Universities: meeting with company representatives are organized, excursions in JSC Power Machines subdivisions are arranged.
All kinds of practices are organized every year for senior students and graduates of education institutions: introduction, production, pre-graduation practice.
The company implements performance management and personnel development system. The considerable attention is paid to personnel training. Within this system company implements a number of programs among which is "Efficient mentoring" training program aimed at sharing experience and knowledge with recent graduates.
Besides Power Machines have unlimited state license for training and education on 45 specialties demanded in production. Possession of such a license allows the company to provide the production with labor force, reduce training costs and give opportunity to Power Machines enterprises to prepare personnel for specific workplaces and on-the-job.
One of the employment policy's priorities is the process of personnel performance assessment in terms of which a number of activities is held every year.
