Within the framework of the implementation of a project aimed at creating an innovative product: the first Russian 1255 MW low-speed NPP turbine intended for the Kursk NPP-2, Power Machines has successfully completed model tests of the blades of the last low-pressure cylinder (LPC) stage. The tests were performed in the presence of the customer's representatives.

September 20, 2017, Saint Petersburg  – an exhibition entitled - "Andrei Tarkovsky. Artist of Space", was opened at the State Russian Museum in the Stroganov Palace, with the support of Severstal, Power Machines, Nordgold and TUI Russia. It is dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the birth of the world renowned film director.

The Krasny Kotelshchik Taganrog Boiler-Making Plant (TKZ), a member of the Power Machines power engineering company, will take part in the construction of a new TPP within the framework of revamping The LLC Kristall Kirsanov Sugar Mill (a member of the ASB Group of Companies). The scope of the TKZ's contractual obligations includes the design, manufacture and delivery to the site of two E-160 steam boilers, pre-commissioning and performance adjustment work, guarantee tests and supervision of the project’s implementation.

The Kaluga Turbine Plant, a member of the Power Machines power engineering company, has manufactured, tested and shipped two out of four 38 MW turbines, intended to produce electric energy as parts of the combined cycle gas turbine units at the Pregolya TPP.

September 20 was the date of completion of a unique logistic operation involving the delivery of the heaviest hydraulic power unit wheels in the history of Russian hydraulic power engineering from Saint Petersburg to the EuroSibEnergo Krasnoyarsk HPP.
