OJSC “Power Machines” announces new appointment in its management staff. Rolf Scholten has been appointed Director, Quality management and technical regulation, for OJSC “Power Machines.”
“Quality management is a system -based approach aimed at meeting the customer’s needs to the extent possible using effective procedures leading to the best prices as well as ensuring the high qualification and motivation of personnel,” says Rolf Scholten.
Rolf Scholten was born on April 10, 1950 in Germany. In 1980 he graduated from Bochum University (Germany) where he was granted Masters Degree in microwave devices, and in 1986 – from the Mechanical Engineering Institute in Darmstadt (Germany) where he was granted Masters Degree in industrial machines engineering.
Rolf Scholten started his professional carrier in 1980 at Siemens where he has worked till present in various divisions located all over the world.
From 1980 till 1992 he occupied the positions of director for development of industrial technologies, director for production planning for foreign branches and director for quality control in the company’s “Mobile Devices and Networks” division.
In 1992 – 1997 Rolf Scholten was the head of the joint venture established by Siemens in Warsaw, Poland.
In 1997 – 2000 he served as director for local logistics centers development for industrial power networks and director for client oriented projects by Siemens/Italtel in Naples, Italy.
In 2000 – 2005 he was director for quality control at the joint venture established by Siemens in Shanghai, China.
In 2005 – 2007 Rolf Scholten was in charge of the quality control issues at Siemens power generating equipment manufacturing facility in Mulheim, Germany, which included performing quality control over electric cables production, developing of the quality-oriented thinking of the personnel and supervision of the client relationship issues.
