Alexander Chuvaev was appointed Managing Director of Power Machines

Alexander Chuvaev recently working for ‘GE Oil & Gas” (Moscow) as General Regional Manager (Russia, CIS) was appointed Managing Director of Power Machines on October 23, 2006.

In the capacity of the Managing Director Alexander Chuvaev will perform operational management of the company. This appointment will give Boris Vainzikher, Director General, an opportunity to focus on elaboration of Power Machines’ long-term strategy and on mutual co-operation with the key-partners of the company.

Alexander Chuvaev graduated from the Moscow Higher Technical College (MGTU) named after N.E.Bauman in 1983, Diploma in Engineering and Mechanics, faculty ‘Automatization and Mechanization of technological processes’.

Professional life of Alexander Chuvaev started in MGTU named after N.E.Bauman, where in 1983 – 1985 A.Chuvaev worked as Engineer and Investigator of Welding and Non-destructive examination Department.

In 1985 - 1989 Alexander Chuvaev worked for International Integrative Oil and Gas Group of USSR at the construction of gas industry project sites in the north of the Tyumen region, where passed a way from the master of the section up to the Head and Chief technologist.

In 1989 - 1992 – Manager for business development of the“GAT International” Trading company in Moscow and in San Diego (USA).

In 1992 - 1999 – Alexander Chuvaev worked for “Solar Turbines” (branch office of “Caterpillar”), San Diego and in Gosselye (Belgium), at the top commercial positions, connected with business development at the markets of Russia and CIS.

In 1999 - 2005 – Head of the Commercial group, Program Director of business restructure and development, Commercial Director in the branches of Thermal Engineering, Hydro Engineering and of Corporate Centre of Innovative research of ‘General Electric’ in USA and Canada.

In 2005 - 2006 Alexander Chuvaev worked for OJSC “OMZ” (“Uralmash-Izhora”), Deputy CEO – Director for operations.

Since 2006 till recent time - «GE Oil & Gas», General Regional Manager (Russia and CIS).
