Alexander Bankevich appointed Chief Information Officer (CIO), for OJSC "Power Machines"

OJSC “Power Machines” announces new appointment in its management staff. Alexander Bankevich has been appointed Chief Information Officer (CIO), for OJSC “Power Machines.”

“I am planning to complete the implementation of the unified informational system (ERP) in the Power Machines head office and branches which will make it possible to introduce the single procedures for supply chain management, production planning, accounting and reporting in all of the company’s enterprises,” Alexander Bankevich said.

Alexander Bankevich was born in Leningrad on March 27, 1966. In 1989 he graduated from the Oriental Philology Department of the Leningrad State University. In 1993 he was granted Masters Degree in Computer Science at the American University (Washington, DC).

From 1994 till 1997 Alexander Bankevich was Director, Information technologies, at EC-Mac Motor Carriers Service Association (Arlington, USA). In 1998 – 2000 he worked with Andersen Consulting where he managed a number of technological projects in various countries (Chile, Poland, USA). In 2000 – 2001 he was Vice President of Transtelecom, in 2001 – 2002 - General Director for Atlant-Inform, in 2002 – 2003 - project manager for system implementation at Crown Resources (London), in 2003 – 2004 - Director of Department of management consulting at TopS Business Integrator (Moscow), in 2004 – 2005 – Director, Information technologies, at SUAL. From 2005 till present he has occupied the position of Director, Information technologies, at Rosinter.
