Power Machines and Mosenergo secured contracts to supply two packaged 110-MW turbine generators for the reconstruction of Mosenergo’s power units at the TPP 17 and TPP 23. The total value of the contracts is over RUR 300 million.
Earlier, Power Machines won in an appropriate competition, where its competitors were the Russian power equipment manufacturers Elsib and Privod. Due to both technical characteristics and prices, the offer of Power Machines was accepted as preferable.
Under the contracts, Power Machines will supply two 110-MW turbine generators coming with excitation systems for the reconstruction of power units at the TPP 17 and TPP 23. The company is planning to supply this equipment in August, 2008. In addition, the Power Machines’ scope of obligations includes the installation and adjustment supervision.
The type of the turbine generators to be supplied has positive references. These turbine generators were supplied to such facilities as Mosebnergo’s TPP 27, Ivanovskiye PGU, Nevinnomysskaya GRES, Vojany Thermal Plant (Slovakia), etc.
