The joint venture of Power Machines and the Toshiba Corporation to supply equipment for a St. Petersburg-based energy company

Power Machines – Toshiba High Voltage Transformers (PMTT) and Saint Petersburg Electric Grid signed an agreement for the delivery of power transformers for a future substation.

According to the agreement, the joint venture will design, manufacture, and deliver two 110 kV transformers with a power capacity of 63 MVA each for the 110 kV Moskovskaya Tovarnaya substation being built in St. Petersburg’s Central District.

PMTT will also be in charge of the installation supervision for the equipment delivered.

The transformers will be delivered to the customer by the end of 2015, and the installation supervision will be completed by September 2016.
