Severstal, Power machines, and TUI Russia (part of Severgroup) supported the project «Mikhailovsky Palace. History. Architecture. Legends» for blind and visually-impaired visitors of the State Russian Museum.
The Russian Museum and St. Petersburg Library carried out a project for blind and visually impaired visitors, including the creation of Mikhailovsky (Engineering) Castle miniature, an interactive tour along the great halls, and publication of relief and graphical album, printed on special swell paper using a special heating tool.
Thanks to this project, the visitors with disabilities gained access to the information about the history of Mikhailovsky Palace and about its architecture, as well as famous myths and legends associated with the image of the Emperor Paul I.
According to Maria Aleeva, Head of Public Relations and Advertising Department at Power machines, support of the projects on accessible environments in the museums was carried out within the framework of the social responsibility of Severgroup companies.
