Power Machines ships and delivers boiler equipment for Vostochnaya TPP in Vladivostok

Russian power engineering company Power Machines has completed shipment of three hot water recovery boilers designed for Vostochnaya TPP. Contractual obligations of Power Machines towards RAO Energy System of East (RAO ES of East) include development of design documentation, manufacture and delivery of recovery boilers, installation/supervised installation, adjustment/supervised adjustment and participation in warranty tests.

The equipment manufactured by Taganrog Boiler-Making Works Krasny Kotelshchik, a part of Power Machines OJSC, has been delivered to the construction site in larger units, which significantly simplifies and streamlines installation activities.Currently, a stack and a bypass gas duct are being installed and fabric expansion joints of boiler No.3 are being assembled. This boiler is scheduled to be commissioned at the beginning of the heating season, which will be preceded by start-up operations.

Vostochnaya TPP is being built at the site of existing power facility, the CentralSteam Water Boiler House (CSWBH) in Vladivostok. Due to the installation of newgas-turbine plants and heat recovery boilers Vostochnaya TPP will become an independent power facility supplying consumers with thermal and electrical power. Electric capacity of the new power plant will amount to 139.5 MW and its thermal capacity – to 421 Gcal/h. The power plant will be natural gas-fired.
