Deputy General Director - Sales Director of PJSC "Power machines" Alexey Kultyshev made a report at the session Central Asia: key direction for the development of international projects in the electric power industry within the framework of the international forum Russian Energy Week (REW).
The participants discussed the potential of cooperation between Russia and Uzbekistan in the energy sector. In particular, the topics related to the peculiarities of conducting international projects in the territory of Central Asia; current and promising projects of Russian companies in the region were discussed.
“Power Machines generating equipment has a long history of successful operation in all countries of Central Asia,” said Alexey Kultyshev. -The company today is represented in almost all areas of the energy sector and offers solutions both for new projects of the generating and integrated power grid, and as part of the modernization of existing equipment, and, of course, turnkey service. Financing instruments are being worked out, strong and mutually beneficial relations have been built with regional partners, a subsidiary of Power Machines in Uzbekistan is successfully operating. All this shows that Central Asia is a strategically important and extremely promising market for us, and we are ready to offer solutions for the energy sector of the region, tailored to the requirements of customers as much as possible.
The session was also attended by the first Deputy Minister of Energy of Uzbekistan – General Director of Uzatom Agency Jurabek Mirzamahmudov, Chairman of the Board of JSC National Electric Network of Uzbekistan Dadajon Isakulov, special representative of the President of Mongolia on Regional Energy Cooperation, Bangall Byambasaikhan, Director of international Cooperation Department of JSC Rosseti Andrey Lopatkin, head of Asset Management in Central Asia and Transcaucasia of PJSC Inter RAO Dmitry Volkov. The session was moderated by Anatoly Yanovsky, Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation.
The annual international forum Russian Energy Week has been held since 2016. This is an effective platform for discussing the main challenges faced by the energy sector of the economy, and current topics in the development of the sectors of the fuel and energy complex.
