Power Machines are partners of the International Polytechnic School of the St. Petersburg Polytechnic University named after Peter the Great

Within the framework of the “International Polytechnic School for Energy”, Power Machines have been hosting students and post-graduate students from the People’s Republic of China, South Korea, Italy, and the Czech Republic. The program features introduction to the operations and products of Power Machines, lectures on design features of developments for nuclear energy, tours of steam turbine manufacturing facilities at Leningradskiy Metallichesky zavod.

– In 2018, Power Machines have been continuing with their partnership with the International Polytechnic School for Energy; and it is our hope that this customary cooperation between the company and the St. Petersburg Polytechnic University will be still richer in new programs, – indicated Anna Lvova, Director for HR of Power Machines.

Apart from participation in the International Polytechnic School of the St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, Power Machines have been championing a number of educational projects together with foremost universities which turn out engineers and technicians. Thus, for example, hands-on practical training and courses of studies with employment opportunities to be offered by the company, plant tours, meetings with employees, the corporate training center is being developed, specialist departments of the universities are supported.

International Polytechnic School for Energy of the St. Petersburg Polytechnic University is an educational project which is held twice a year for foreign students majoring in energy along the following three lines: “Electric Power”, “Nuclear Power” and “Turbine Machine Building”. January 22-nd 2017 saw the third winter school for students of all the levels of training kick off at the St. Petersburg Polytechnic University. Compared to last year, the number of participants increased three-fold: educational modules of the Winter School - 2018 are studied by more than 140 persons from Russia, China, South Korea, Italy, and Czech Republic.
