Power Machines – Toshiba plant. High-Voltage Transformers Plant completed manufacturing of transformer for the RusGidro Company Ust-Srednekan HPP.
In line with the plant electrical equipment batching program the Joint Venture has manufactured a 220 kV and 200 MVA transformer. As of today the transformer overall tests are completed and equipment is processed for transportation to the plant site.
The SMTT specialists will also provide the transformer mounting supervision and train the Customer personnel.
The SMTT currently performs another big order for RusGidro Company for manufacturing of four single-phase autotransformers with voltage of 500 kV and capacity of 267 MVA each for Volzhskaya HPP capital improvement. Equipment will also be delivered to the Customer in 2016.
The Ust-Srednekan HPP is a hydro power plant under construction on the Kolyma River, and it’s the second plant in the Kolyma HPPs cascade. It is located some 9 km away from the influx of the Srednekan River running into the Kolyma River. Construction of the Ust-Srednekan HPP was started in 1991. Designed established capacity of the plant is 570 MW (4 hydro-electric units with 142.5 MW output each).
