Organization and Staff Changes at the PJSC Power Machines and the OJSC Kaluga Turbine Plant

Since June 30, 2017, Igor Bartashevich who earlier held the post of the Rolled Steel Production Director at the JSC Severstal-Management Cherepovets Steel Mill has been appointed as General Director of the JSC Kaluga Turbine Works (OJSC KTZ), a member of the Power Machines Corporate Group. The respective resolution was adopted by the OJSC Kaluga Turbine Works on June 29, 2017.

Since June 30, Alexei Ryabinin, who earlier headed the OJSC Kaluga Turbine Works, has been approved as PJSC Power Machines Deputy CEO for Special Purpose Products.

As Roman Filippov, PJSC Power Machines CEO commented on the organizational and staff changes, he stated: "Igor Bartashevich has extensive experience of management and is a strong leader. I am sure that his sense of purpose and responsibility will allow him to cope successfully with the task of further improving operational efficiency at the enterprise. Among the manager's principal tasks is continuing to develop OJSC KTZ in line with the approved strategy, creating competitive products, fulfilling orders always right on time with a guaranteed quality level, improving efficiency by shaping a culture of permanent improvement using the Power Machines business system and the best global practices."

On his new post, Alexei Ryabinin will coordinate construction of the stock of special purpose orders within the framework of the Power Machines Corporate Group.

Igor Tadeushevich Bartashevich was born in Lipetsk in 1965. In 1999, he graduated from the Cherepovets State University in the specialty "Management and Informatics in Engineering Systems".

He started his career in 1983 as a crane operator at the Cherepovets Steel Mill section rolling shop. In 1996, he was transferred to the post of team leader in metal finishing, sorting, acceptance and packing. From 1999, he worked as a foreman and a shift foreman.

In 2001, he was appointed as a leading process engineer, then as the head of the Cherepovets Steel Mill Technology and Quality Bureau.

In 2003, he headed the rolling section, and in 2007, he was appointed deputy section rolling shop (later, facility) manager. Since 2010, he worked as the section rolling shop facility manager at the Cherepovets Steel Mill, OJSC Severstal.

From 2014 to 2017, he was the Rolled Steel Production Manager at the Cherepovets Steel Mill, OJSC Severstal-Management.

On June 30, 2017, he became CEO of the OJSC Kaluga Turbine Works.


Alexei Valentinovich Ryabinin was born in Leningrad in 1959. In 1981, he graduated from the A.F. Mozhaisky Military Engineering Institute (at present, the A.F. Mozhaisky Military Space Academy) in the specialty "Control and Communication System". He received his second higher education at the F.E. Dzerzhinsky Military Academy from which he graduated in 1993 in the "Engineering and Economics" specialty.

During the period from 1976 till 1999, he served in the ranks of the Russian Armed Forces.

In 1999, he headed the Quality Management Directorate of the OJSC Leningradsky Metallichesky Zavod (at present, the enterprise is a member of the PJSC Power Machines). In 2009, he was appointed to the post of the OJSC Power Machines Deputy Director for Quality Management and Technical Regulation, and in 2010, he headed the OJSC Power Machines Quality Management and Technical Regulation Directorate (subsequently, the Quality Management and Business Process Control Directorate).

Since August 29, 2013, he was CEO of the OJSC Kaluga Turbine Works.

On June 30, 2017 he became Deputy CEO for Special Purpose Products of the PJSC Power Machines.

He was awarded a medal "In Memory of the Tercentenary of Saint Petersburg, a diploma of the Saint Petersburg Committee for Economic Development, Industrial Policy and Trade, an honorable mention of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and a Certificate of Merit of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
