Taganrog Boiler-Making Works "Krasny Kotelshchik" (TKZ), a part of Power Machines, has successfully completed a 72-hour comprehensive testing of a self-supporting boiler for the SIBUR site in Kstovo, located in the Nizhny Novgorod Region. The equipment is intended for the technical re-equipment of steam supply to the petrochemical plant.
Under the terms of the contract, Krasny Kotelshchik has undertaken to design, manufacture, and supply a boiler with a steam capacity of 100 tons per hour, operating on various kinds of fuel.
"The boiler that we have supplied to the SIBUR platform in Kstovo has an original design. It has been made without a frame, which reduces the weight of the boiler, and therefore its cost. This equipment is highly maneuverable: the boiler may operate in the range of 40% to 100%. In addition, it is environmentally safe. The operation of the new boiler will make it possible to significantly reduce the amount of harmful emissions," commented Vladimir Vanyarkh, Chief Designer of the project.
The equipment is currently undergoing performance adjustment, after which its warranty tests will be conducted, meant to confirm the specified indicators. The works is scheduled to be completed by the end of April 2017.
Small modern self-supporting boilers design, manufacture, and supply for large industrial enterprises is a new work area for Krasny Kotelshchik. The high quality implementation of this contract will allow the Taganrog enterprise to expand the product line of small boilers and to expect new orders.
